Waxed Cloud

Waxed Cloud is the hypnotic solo project of Steven Sanguine, based in NYC. Blissful drones collide with harsh, grating textures and a continuous plumbing rhythm, adding up to a reflective journey into the self — self- described as “Electronic Dance Metal, Funeral Jig, Industrial Ephemera.”

Waxed Cloud’s debut album on Computer Age Recordings, Transcendental Undying Love, is a beautiful electronic onslaught — cacophonous in its clanging rhythmic pulsations while still holding onto dreamy, minimalist drones. It was mixed and mastered by labelmate Zona Zanjeros. Waxed Cloud has also released music on Seattle’s Imploding Sounds, alongside a much deeper Bandcamp discography spanning releases like Ancestor Simulation, Life and Love, Aghartha Ablaze, Suffering Without Purpose, Trumpets of Perdition, Funeral Hymns for Society, and Aesthetic Haze.
